I'm afraid I'm VERY delayed in expressing my thanks for such a wonderful vacation while at the Blue Tang Inn. My friend and I vacationed there October 2007 (has it really been that long?!? It seems just yesterday...)
To depend on a search of the internet from far to book your accomodations is a bit risky. However, The Blue Tang Inn is one that will stick in my mind forever as being one of the best places I've stayed in all my travels! :)
The location is perfect - just a quick walk to all the restaurants and entertainment and right on the beach!! We loved waking up, grabbing our (delicious) breakfast from the patio and walking out onto the warm sand. And since it's a smaller Inn, it's a more quiet and intimate stay - more like a B&B.
Everything was great - even the staff - one of the guys trimming the trees cut a coconut down for me and opened it! And when I forgot to collect a bit of sand for my collection, they mailed some to me!!! WoW! So incredibly nice - I tell everyone to go to Belize and stay at The Blue Tang Inn! ...Until next time! :)

Blue Tang Inn was the absolute perfect "home away from home" for my girlfriend and I on our first vacation together. We fell in love with the pictures online and were so excited about picking our exact room - complete with private balcony and ocean view! When we arrived at the hotel we were thrilled to see that the real thing was even beyond what we'd hoped for! Everyone on the staff was amazing, extremely friendly, and so genuinely dedicated to making sure our stay was nothing less than perfect. The hotel was always spotless, breakfast was consistently surprising and delicious, sunsets from the roof were beautiful, and the beach right in front of the hotel was the best along that stretch of San Pedro.

Thanks so much for a wonderful experience and we can't wait to visit again!

We have been visiting Belize for 8 years. The past 7 years we have stayed at the Blue Tang Inn. It is always wonderful. The staff is always great, from housekeeping to everyone in the office we have always been treated like family.

Over the years we have got to know everyone and I believe that everyone has got to know us a little. The fact that the staff generally stays the same makes it very nice. When I am making our reservations; it is nice to be able to put a face with a name. I would never dream of staying any place else.

The Blue Tang Inn is located in the perfect spot in San Pedro. It is within a short walk to the grocery store and all the delicious food found on the island.

The thing that Leslie and I look forward to at the Blue Tang is breakfast by the pool each morning. Just the thought of that makes me want to book a flight to Belize.

Out of all the places that we have been fortunate to visit, Belize and the Blue Tang are the only place we return each year.

Thank you and all the rest of the staff for making our stays memorable. Don't change a thing.

I really want to thank you both, Allan and Sonja. You helped us/me out tremendously. I am very impressed with the timely responses to all (I know there were lot) of my questions. It's too bad that all places don't have the personal care and help that you both displayed. The owners at Blue Tang are very lucky to have you. Keep up the good work.

We very much appreciated our overnight stay at the Blue Tang. The only problem we had was we only stayed one night! I would love to come back and stay much longer. The hotel staff were great. We also very much enjoyed the sailboat cruise to and from San Pedro on the Siren Azul. The sailing crew were exceptional and gave as a wonderful experience!

Where to start?? The Blue Tang Inn is like coming home for us. We have stayed there 6 or 7 seven times and each time is better than the last time. I believe they have the best staff on the entire island. Allan and Fanny are awesome, just awesome. You need a reservation and BOOM! you got it. The house keeping staff is great. Nicest women ever. Pablo is the man with the amazing ability to put some plant on the side of the palm tree and it grows! And this trip he was El Captaino Pablo. What a great sail we had!!! Beautiful boat and captaino. Robert is very nice also. We have watched Eric turn into an amazing asset to the Blue Tang and what a sweet person. We couldn't be happier with our choice to keep returning to The Blue Tang Inn!! We like it so much, we are coming back in October!!!

I wish I could turn around and go right back to Belize and the Blue Tang. Ramon and I had a great time last week and really enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of the hotel. We are definitely going to stay there the next time we return.

Beautiful grounds of tropical foliage, fun painted surfaces and gorgeous tile work, constantly attended by the friendly staff.
The Blue Tang is the perfect location for a stay in San Pedro. It has beachfront property and is situated one block off "main street." They also have a large motorized sailboat and staff who took our family of five on the most fantastic half-day snorkel trip to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve and to Shark Ray Alley. Don't plan a trip here without allowing time for that experience!
Blue Tang's location in the heart of San Pedro was perfect for our tastes. The island/urban setting really made us feel like we were getting the best of what the island has to offer. (FIND WARUGUMA RESTAURANT - a literal
hole-in-the-wall - for the most delicious and elegantly served lobster, shrimp or beef burritos you have ever eaten.)
We booked our trip through Sonja in Blue Tang's US Office, who also set up our stay at Cave's Branch and arranged all in-country transportation, coordinating it perfectly with our international flights in and out of Belize City.
This trip surpassed all of our hopes!

Well, as a follow up to my previous e-mail, the Blue Tang Inn and staff were excellent. The accomodations for our wedding were fantastic, the ceremony, the get together afterwards with the great people we met while we were there
was top notch. We are already discussing another trip next year. Curt and Debbie,thanks for letting us know about your place. We will be back!!!!!!!
